today's a freaking tiring day. lots of unjust done to us-my floorball team for interhouse games (ihg). i didn't wan to go to sch in the first place. but coz kugun kept on persuading me to go to sch for ihg so i agreed. i went there in the morning n cameron yaw caught my hair coz it was too long. slacked until 8.30am when our 1st match starts- Byron V.S Darwin. was pretty nervous coz our team only played floorball once in pe n all of us r rookies in the game of floorball. i was appointed the keeper n i didn't grumble much coz the keeper position for most sports, such as soccer n floorball, is something tat i like to play. wasn't really used to the stick at first n our game started wif us playing slowly n not capitalising on our opponent's mistakes. time was almost up n sudden death mode is going to kick in soon but at this moment, kugun started his scoring account n our winning streak wif a goal of his own. 1st match- Byron 1 Darwin 0. tat tiny hole in my shoe was the cause of my pain as while i was busy defending my goalmouth, i dragged my left foot against the floor causing a hole in my socks n a tiny injury. didn't bothered to care about it as i deemed it as tiny scratches. after our 1st match had ended, i felt pain in my left foot n i went to get a plaster to cover the wound. we then had to wait til 10.30 for our second match- Byron V.S Keller wif their noisy supporters. before the match we saw Keller got past Darwin easily, knocking in several goals in the process. suddenly this thought came to our mind as in wat if Keller win us n our floorball campaign is over? A fury of panic came into our mind as i started the match cautiously. Kugun settled our nerves by scoring a goal early in the 1st min of the game. He continued to score another 2 more goals until complacency kicks in n i didn't clear the ball quickly n letting in 1 goal. I quickly re-focused n Kugun scored another 2 more n Yuping joining in the fun wif a goal of his own from a freaking tight angle. 2nd match- Byron 6 Keller 1. We then had to wait til 3.30 for our next match- Byron V.S Nobel. While waiting, i went to play soccer in the hot sun from 1- 2.30pm n tat took alot out of me. Concentration levels took a dip n this proved to be fatal. We started the match n soon found ourselves trailing by 2 goals. I found out later then Kugun was already giving up hope at this point. I quickly urged our team to retaliate n the score was 3-2 in our favour. Wif 30 secs left, 1 of their team player ap-attitude problem n stopped the game prematurely. then he suddenly came back in n resumed the match n halfway through the match, 1 of their players is out wif a sprain n they had to sub in a non-Nobel house person. They eventually scored 1 but we contested this decision wif the umpire n they forfeited n rightly so. Semifinal- Byron 3 Nobel 2. During the match, my palm took a whack from tat player wif ap wif his stick n my plaster came off. Finals was versus Polo at 5.10pm. We started the match swiftly but went down by 1 goal. We re-organised n scored 1 back n they scored another 1 against us. We equalised in the dying moments of the match n took the match into sudden death. then out of nowhere pops out a fresh player playing for polo when he is not even registered under floorball. Initially we heard tat the cca tat is incharge of a event cannot have its members playing in tat event. But this rule was mysterously absent for floorball only. N u dun argue tat floorball is different from hockey. Tat's PLAIN BULLSHIT. In the end, Nobel, Polo, Owens had hockey players in their teams which is a great disadvantage for the other teams. Tat fresh player went on to score for Polo causing us to be second. However, we did Byron n ourselves proud by defying the odds tat r stacked high against us by being 1st runnerup for Floorball. This is quite an achievement. In the midst of the game, 1 STUPID MORON had to go n stick his stick in between my legs causing me to fall, resulting in an injury to my left leg. At the start of the day, our brave 08S15 IHG floorball players arrived fresh n injury-free n left bruised n battered n wif several injuries to us. This sums up my frustration for the day. =)
